Mr. Kahn, a respected attorney of more than 60 years, focuses his practice primarily on civil litigation as well as cooperative and condominium law.
Mr. Kahn's expertise includes former appointments as a partner at three different law firms throughout New York City, including Fink Weinberger P.C. between 1976 and 1993, where he also served as the chairman of the litigation department while supervising various civic and commercial litigation matters. His wealth of experience notably includes representing clients throughout all jurisdictions in the metropolitan area. A member of several industry-related organizations throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Kahn has been affiliated with the American Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
Active with various civic initiatives throughout New York, Mr. Kahn was active on the board of directors of the Lincoln Square Neighborhood Center. Recruited as a member of the Community Board #7, he was also elected as a delegate to the Democratic Judicial Convention for the First Judicial District in the State of New York. Mr. Kahn flourished as a democratic district leader for 67AD, Part A in New York County from 2003 to 2019.
Mr. Kahn prepared for his career by obtaining a bachelor's degree at Columbia College in 1952. Remaining on Columbia University's campus to pursue his law degree, he was drafted into military service while in his last year of law school. After completing two years in the U.S. Army, he returned to Columbia Law School, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1957. Mr. Kahn has been admitted to practice before the courts in the State of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the Supreme Court of the United States and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
He is celebrated as an AV-Rated Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Kahn has been cited in the ninth edition of Who's Who in American Law.
