Mr. Hall has been the successful president and owner of S.E. Hall & Co. in Birmingham, Michigan, since 1976. A management consulting firm, his practice has been focused on operations management. Helping clients improve their internal management, he serves a client base primarily comprised of New York Stock Exchange listed companies. Prior to working for himself, Mr. Hall represented Touche Ross & Co. in Detroit as a management consultant for eight years and CASH, Inc., in Indianapolis rising to vice president and chief operating officer over seven years prior, beginning in 1961. CASH Inc. was an early computer service bureau and the first operating in the U.S. to do online, real-time processing for savings and loan institutions and credit unions.
Apart from his commitments in consulting, Mr. Hall has been affiliated with several other organizations, including Electronic Software, Inc. as chairman of the board; Airnet Inc. as treasurer; and Birmingham Financial Planning Corporation as director. He also founded Birmingham Advertising Associates.
Mr. Hall authored four U.S. patents all held through his Hall Data Sync Technologies LLC. He was also a contributing author of the 1979 book titled "Managing the Systems Development Process," published through Prentice Hall.
To support his community, Mr. Hall played an instrumental role as chairman of the board of Birmingham Area Cablecasting for 20 years between 1980 and 2000. He also spent five years as a member of the Dean's Council at his alma mater, Northwestern University, from 1973 to 1978. For the past four decades, he has remained an active member of the Mill Reef Club of Antigua. In the 90's, he served on the Board of the Birmingham Athletic Club as Treasurer and Vice President.
Born in Indianapolis, Mr. Hall studied at Northwestern University's School of Commerce (now Kellogg School of Management), where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1964 and was elected to the Beta Alpha Psi honorary society. He is a registered CPA in Michigan and Indiana and a Certified Management Consultant. Earlier, he was elected to the Mu Alpha Theta honorary society.
As a commitment to his field, Mr. Hall has been active with several industry-related organizations. Among them are the Indiana CPA Society, the Michigan Association of CPAs, and the Institute of Management Consultants. A celebrated Marquis listee, he has been included in the 24th and 25th editions of Who's Who in Finance and Industry, the 21st edition of Who's Who in the Midwest, and the first edition of Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
