For more than 40 years, Mr. May has found success as a petrophysicist studying physical and chemical rock properties and their interactions with fluids primarily in the oil and gas industry. He began his career as a senior geologist for Cities Services Oil Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1974 before relocating to Denver where he accepted a position as a division geologist for Exxon and a manager of exploration systems for Science Software-Intercomp.
