FRIENDSWOOD, TX, October 09, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Linda Nash Moore has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. From a young age, Ms. Moore has harbored an interest in education. Holding much respect for all of her teachers throughout grade school, her parents eventually encouraged her to enroll in college. Utilizing financial support and several scholarships, Ms. Moore notably graduated from a four-year program in three years.
Ms. Moore subsequently obtained a bachelor's degree in elementary education and sociology from Sam Houston State University before beginning her career as a teacher in the Aldene School District. In her career, she has also served as a teacher in Norfolk, Virginia in the Clear Creek School District and the Friendswood Independent School District. Ms. Moore currently excels as a substitute teacher in special education for the Friendswood Independent School District after getting Special Education (PK-12) on 6/1/1997.
Throughout her career, Ms. Moore has been incredibly grateful for the times when she was able to work with students and their parents to help them learn skills in order to become more successful. She has always enjoyed witnessing parents learn new things about their children. Ms. Moore firmly believes that, as a teacher, she has an obligation to support young people in becoming the best adults that they can be.
For her exemplary efforts in education, Ms. Moore was recognized as the Teacher of the Year. She has attributed her professional success to her foundation as well as her faith. Civically, she has contributed to her local community and conducts work at her local church. In the coming years, Ms. Moore plans to continue teaching while dedicating more of her time to her grandchildren.
