Throughout his formative years, Mr. Griffin regularly deliberated on his future career path with the knowledge that he aspired to help others. Exhibiting considerable proficiency in legal areas of study, one of his high school instructors suggested that he pursue a higher education in law. Garnering inspiration from this advice, Mr. Griffin initially enlisted in the United States Army National Guard and served his country for eight years. Concurrently with his duties, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in 2000. By 2004, he had obtained a Juris Doctor from the Pepperdine University School of Law.
Beginning in 2003, Mr. Griffin contributed to Bois & Macdonald as a law clerk and associate attorney. Between 2007 and 2018, he diligently served as an associate and then partner for Prenovost, Normandin, Bergh & Dawe, APC with his "home courtroom" in the Superior Court of California, County of Orange. Currently, Mr. Griffin excels as the managing principal and chief trial counsel at Griffin, P.C.
Regarding his qualifications, Mr. Griffin has been admitted to practice law by the State Bar of California, the Washington State Bar Association, the Idaho State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar. Likewise, he previously attained his certification in military intelligence and is a licensed real estate broker in the State of California. In addition, Mr. Griffin was reappointed to the State of California Escrow Law Advisory Committee and has presented numerous cases before the California Department of Real Estate.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Griffin contributed to a book detailing principals of air quality management in the public justice sphere and published an article titled "Real Property Receivers Beware: Mechanics' Lien and Stop Notice Law May Subvert Your Sales!" as well as California Appellate Court decisions "Lepe v. F.M. Tarbell Co." and "Grissom v. Dealer Servs. Corp.". Furthermore, he previously offered his expertise to colleagues, peers and forthcoming lawyers at speaking engagements such as past Tri-Counties Association of Realtors Real Estate Legal Panels and California Escrow Association Annual Convention. Likewise, Mr. Griffin presented "The Final TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures Rule: Clarifying Confusions" for the Knowledge Group in 2016, among others.
Mr. Griffin retains his membership as an associate member of the California Land Title Association (CLTA), the California Association of Realtors® and as a board director for his local homeowners association. In accounting for his success, he credits his propensity for hard work and dedication.
