For her efforts throughout her career, Ms. Markovich was featured in an executive profile and was later recognized as an Executive of Influence by the Birmingham Business Journal. In her business, she focuses on building relationships, trust and loyalty with clients. She has been most proud to be able to find success in her passion.
Over the years, Ms. Markovich has attributed her professional success to striving for active engagement and communication with all clients. She maintains professional affiliations with the Association of Travel Advisors, the Cruise Line International Association, and American Express Travel Network as an American Express Travel Insider. Civically, she served on the board of the United Nations Association of Greater Birmingham, Alabama and continues to advocate for the United Nations Global Goals for Sustainable Development as it pertains to Tourism. She also serves on the Destination Hoover International Board and actively nurtures her memberships and relationships with the international communities through her involvement with the Germany Alabama Partnership, Japan-America Society of Alabama, the Philippine Association and the Caribbean Association of Birmingham.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Markovich continues to encourage her team of advisors to travel more so they can share their experiences with their clients in order to provide more exceptional services.
