Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Dr. Kourilsky co-founded l'Offrande Musicale, a program that organizes concerts for ailing individuals in hospitals, residents of assisted living facilities and patients in various rehabilitation establishments. Throughout the course of his career, he also authored "Nephrology and Urology for Nurses" and collaborated on the publication titled "Management of the Critically Ill Patient". Moreover, Dr. Kourilsky has contributed to various professional journals and penned a series of medical detective thrillers, among others.
As a testament to his accomplishments, Dr. Kourilsky has been recognized as a Decorated Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur and a grantee of the CIBA Foundation. Furthermore, he maintains his affiliation with the American Society of Nephrology, the International Society of Nephrology, the European Society of Dialysis and the International Society of Hypertension, to name a few. Dr. Kourilsky has also been acknowledged with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and is featured in past editions of Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, and Who's Who in the World.
