She subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology from the University of Louisville, where she was also active as a successful collegiate athlete. Upon her graduation, Ms. Woodward decided to pursue a different professional path and eventually entered the restaurant business with her father.
Ms. Woodward currently excels as the owner of Diced in Raleigh. Furthermore, she is in the process of launching a dressing company that features vegan and allergy friendly ingredients. With Diced, she notably wanted to combine all of her favorite aspects of fast food restaurants with healthier options that customers could feel good about eating. Over the years, Ms. Woodward has been most proud of finding success with her first restaurant without much prior experience in the industry.
Since establishing Diced, Ms. Woodward was recognized as operating the Best New Business in the city of Raleigh. More recently, her restaurant was lauded as the Best New Healthy Eats and she was presented with the Mover & Shaker Award from a local magazine. As a collegiate athlete, she was celebrated as a NCAA National Cheerleading Champion in 2009 and 2011 and a World Cheerleading Champion for four consecutive years. She was additionally honored as a Gold Medalist with Team USA Cheerleading. In the coming years, Ms. Woodward hopes to begin helping other small businesses become more profitable and successful.
