CHICAGO, IL, November 05, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anna Hall has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Hall began her career working at the airport. She became acquainted with several plumbers at her place of employment, and was encouraged to apply for a plumbing apprenticeship. After deciding to pursue the apprenticeship, she became certified as both a Minority Business Enterprise and a Women Business Enterprise within the City of Chicago. She is also endorsed as a Women Minority Business Enterprise by the State of Illinois CMS. Moreover, Ms. Hall is also Certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, by the Illinois Department of Transportation and has completed the Urban League Entrepreneur Program. In 2017, Ms. Hall became President of P & H Divine Plumbing, Inc. Lastly, she also served as a co-facilitator for the Chicago Police Department Districts 2211 and 2212.
Throughout her career, Ms. Hall has been most proud of her achievements and accomplishments as a Black woman who persevered greatly to overcome many challenges, which garnered her much press and publicity. Most notably, her greatest accolade has been to become the first African American female plumber for the City of Chicago. She credits her success to her faith in God, as well as the support of her brother and sister; Mr. Todd Jones and Ms. Jean Jones. Her continued inspiration to this day has been driven by her supportive mentors, Rosalyn Jelks, and Jennifer King. She maintains professional affiliation with the Chatham Business Association and the Plumbers Local 130.
With a great vision and looking toward her future endeavors, Ms. Hall plans to expand her business and desires to employ more dedicated plumbers through P & H Divine Plumbing within the next few years.
