RAYMORE, MO, November 12, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Keela Vaughn has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
After working as a 10-key operator for more than a decade, Ms. Vaughn decided to apply for a secondary position at the local veterinarian's office. Since 2005, she has excelled as a receptionist with Grandview Animal Hospital, with which she takes pride in building relationships with clients and helping them through the tough times with their pets. In the wake of COVID-19, Ms. Vaughn's professional role has evolved into taking credit card payments, dealing with documents and liaising with clients over the phone.
Alongside her exemplary work with the aforementioned animal hospital, Ms. Vaughn has authored a number of books, including "Finding Light in the Darkness" and "God's Beauty Plan," and dedicates herself to helping others through her motivational blog at Keelight.net. She believes that she was called by God to begin writing and utilizes her faith to help others navigate difficult times. Although her career has been filled with highlights, she is especially proud of the relationships that she built with clients at Grandview Animal Hospital as well as embarking on her journey as an author. Every day, she draws upon her faith; her favorite Bible verse is "Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be wearied, they shall walk and not faint."
An expert in her field, Ms. Vaughn earned a business administration degree from Longview Community College during the mid-1970s. During her spare time, she contributes to her community by teaching Bible study classes. In addition to "God's Beauty Plan" and "Finding Light in the Darkness," she is an inspirational speaker to women's groups and has written articles for both the local newspaper's faith column and the church bulletin. She also had, for 36 years, conducted and was a speaker at all day ladies events, with about 100 attending each year. She planned all the activities and wrote all the group discussions, putting together the hand-outs and prizes throughout the day. Many years she reached into her own pocket to fund the activities that were enjoyed by all. Looking forward, Ms. Vaughn intends to retire while continuing to write and volunteer.
