MONROETON, PA, November 18, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Willard Thomas Blackall has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With decades of religious leadership to his credit, Mr. Blackall originally pursued a career in mechanical engineering at DuPont. Simultaneously, he remained exceptionally involved in the community, particularly through their church. Realizing his devout nature outweighed his passion for the traditional workforce, Mr. Blackall departed from the company and resolved to cultivate a career as a pastor.
For more than 25 years, Mr. Blackall has contributed to the Disciples of Christ Ministry as a minister. In this capacity, he leads numerous congregations in prayer and religious teachings, presides over baptisms, communions, confirmations and weddings, and offers continuous divine guidance to the public. Though Mr. Blackall was initially interested in entering into the priesthood, he instead decided to become a chaplain and pastor after he married and earned the blessing of his monseigneur. Furthermore, he enlightens members of his church in all sects of Christianity, aside from Roman Catholic, and offers his services to several hospitals throughout Bradford County.
Regarding his secular exploits, Mr. Blackall served in the United States Navy during the Korean War, for which he received recognition with the Quilt of Armor. Upon his return to the United States, he first enrolled at Pennsylvania State University and obtained an Associate of Science. Following this accomplishment, Mr. Blackall earned a degree in mechanical engineering and business management from Columbia Pacific University.
As a testament to his accomplishments, the Royal Order of Scotland knighted and inducted Mr. Blackall into their organization in 1989. Likewise, he is a former master of the Masonic Lodge, as well as a member of the Irem Temple and American Legion. Mr. Blackall plans to continue spreading the Word of God through his house of worship in the near future.
