Having lived her life in accordance with the teachings and tenets of the The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, Mrs. Karim dedicated herself to living her life in adherence to The Religion of Islam, and became the editor of the Muhammad Speaks Newspaper. Presently, she works as a seamstress, sells baked goods, and manages the most informative Nation of Islam website (Muhammad Speaks), through which she is able to connect to Black people, the world over. Mrs. Karim has worked as a volunteer Laborer in The Nation of Islam since 1979 and is serving in that same capacity at Muhammad Temple of Islam in Detroit today.
Throughout the course of her professional journey, Mrs. Karim has attributed her personal and professional success to The Teachings and Programs of Messenger Elijah Muhammad. She gives all credit to him for her ability to connect with and motivate others. In a career suffused with highlights, she has been most proud her self-published children's books, which include: English Lesson No. C-1 (a compilation); Don't Eat Pork; Why Is The Moon A Poor Poor Moon; Yacub, Playing with Steel; and Yacub, The Grafting Process all of which are based on the Teachings of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad.. Through experience, Mrs. Karim has learned much about the field of journalism, and, in the future, aspires to continue serving as an inspiring example of her faith and working toward further success.
