Likewise, Mr. Patel serves as a brand ambassador for HMS' companies.
During an earlier stage of his career, Mr. Patel gained valuable expertise in the field as a marketing and reservations consultant with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, during which time he helped increase the revenue of the company by 10 percent. Over the years, he also served as a marketing assistant with Columbia University Athletics, sales manager for the New Jersey Nets, and through internships with TKO Agents and NBC 17. Before embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Patel earned a Bachelor of Science in sport management with a minor in business management from North Carolina State University in 2007. Three years later, he completed a Master of Science in business and sport administration from Columbia University as well. In order to remain aware of ongoing changes in the field, Mr. Patel aligns himself with the Asian Hotel Owners Association and the Columbia University Alumni Association.
A champion of his community, Mr. Patel has devoted himself to several organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, the Chester County Development Association, where he has served as an executive member since 2016, the York County Regional Chamber and Chavis Community Center. For his professional excellence, he has been acknowledged on numerous occasions, earning a Service Award through the Asian Hotel Owners Association, and a South Carolina Ambassador Award. Looking toward the future, Mr. Patel intends to develop a hospitality portfolio that will also help aspiring professionals grow within the industry.
