Ms. Morales is an attorney building her career as a specialist in immigration, family law, and transactional real estate and probate practice. Born and raised in Cuba, she was an outgoing and assertive child, and her earliest interest in the law came at the suggestion of her family. Ms. Morales relocated to the United States in July 2004 to continue her education, earning an Associate of Arts from Miami Dade College, where she graduated with Highest Honors, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, before earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence at the St. Thomas University School of Law in 2014, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Ms. Morales excelled in law school while adapting to the challenges of English language learning and single parenthood, earning a Dean's Award for Academics and accolades for her performance in Professional Responsibility, Legal Writing and Property Law. During her second year at St. Thomas University, she was selected Student Instructor of the Year. During her final year at St. Thomas University, she served as a student representative for the school's immigration law clinic. Since 2015, Ms. Morales has practiced as a partner of Gedeon & Morales Law Group, where she continues her commitment to helping advocate for her clients during periods of uncertainty and challenge.
In addition to her professional practice, Ms. Morales contributes pro bono legal work and assists clients for the Miami-Dade Legal Aid Put Something Back Program, American for Immigrants Justice, and other nonprofit organizations. She has been presented her with several certificates of appreciation for her efforts by different institutions. She attributes her success to her propensity for self-improvement, treating each case personally and a passion for her work. Looking toward the future, she hopes to dedicate more of her time to mentoring future legal professionals. Eventually, Ms. Morales aspires to become a judge. She is active in the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Florida and Miami Dade County Bar Associations, the Haitian Lawyers Association, Cuban American Bar Association, and an alumni member of Phi Alpha Delta and Phi Delta Phi.
