After her grandmother remedied the situation using eye drops, Dr. Johnson consistently harbored an affinity for science and medicine as she matured. Subsequently, she decided to pursue a higher education in pharmacology following her high school graduation.
Doctor Johnson has had an inspiring career that encompasses several aspects of the pharmacy industry. In keeping with her pioneering spirit, she recently expanded into Pharmacogenomics (PGx) gene testing for patients. Doctor Johnson aspires to incorporate the latest technologies available in healthcare to care for her patients. For a brief time, Dr. Johnson initially served as a clinical staff pharmacist at the Druid City Hospital Regional Medical Center. After relocating to Montgomery, Alabama, she retained this title and its responsibilities at Jackson Hospital for seven years. Following her departure from the aforementioned medical center, Dr. Johnson practiced as a retail pharmacist before continuing on to excel as a clinical staff pharmacist in Home Infusion Services for over 3 years. She attributes her success to her passion and the sense of fulfillment she experiences while providing care to others.
Prior to her accomplishments, Dr. Johnson completed pre-pharmacy coursework from an accredited institution and obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy in 2007. Furthermore, she maintains membership with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. In the future, Dr. Johnson hopes to secure a managerial position in the pharmaceutical industry.
