Inspired by her sons, who were heavily involved in sports, Ms. Kreiner was motivated to keep her children healthy both on-and-off the field. After returning to academia and earning a Bachelor of Science in clinical nutrition from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2004, she became the owner of OmniHealth Consultants, with which she provides medical nutrition therapy and frequently speaks on corporate wellness, weight management, gluten-free diets and food sensitivities. Ms. Kreiner is a firm believer that a healthy life begins at home, as involving children in food preparation at an early age will foster a much healthier society in the future.
Upon graduating with her degree in nutrition, Ms. Kreiner also gained valuable expertise in the field as a consulting dietitian with SureQuest, a corporate consulting dietitian with Senior Care Consultants, Inc. and a dietetic technician at the University of Texas Southewestern's Zale Lipshy Pavilion. Driven to remain aware of developments within her industry, she is affiliated with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Food and Culinary Professionals. During her spare time, Ms. Kreiner has continually dedicated herself to her discipline as the former president of the Fort Worth Academy of Nutrition.
Prior to becoming a nutritionist, Ms. Kreiner obtained a Bachelor of Science in meteorology from Saint Louis University in 1978 and a Master of Science in education from Hofstra University in 1980. Even though her career has been filled with highlights, she is incredibly proud of utilizing an institutional-style food service method for serving long-term care patients. Looking toward the future, Ms. Kreiner intends to pursue more work in public policy.
