Moreover, she has established mobile medical clinics and camps for underserved communities in remote villages in North India during this time. She was additionally active as the founder of the Mission of Hope International Church in 2017. Prior to these appointments, Dr. Massey has flourished with medical institutions throughout India since 1995.
Over the course of her storied career, Dr. Massey fondly recalls providing healthcare services to the Orphans of Mother Teresa's home known as Shishu Bhavan Children's Orphanage. Furthermore, she founded The Compassion Center, a donation distribution center that has opened a diaper bank in the United States that have offered diapers, baby formula, clothes for babies and families, household items and food to those less fortunate. The aforementioned center has proudly supported several single mothers through inspirational and educational classes regarding health, finance, resume writing and career orientation. Dr. Massey has also contributed to the Hope Smile Project in India to help sponsor children living with cleft lip and cleft palate issues for life-changing surgery and post-operation rehabilitation.
Before embarking on her professional path, Dr. Massey pursued an education at Christian Medical College Vellore, earning a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1995. She continued her academic efforts with a Master of Science in gerontology at Saint Cloud State University in 2003. Following these accomplishments, Dr. Massey concluded her studies at Strayer University in 2007, graduating with a Master of Science in health service administration.
Dr. Massey has further flourished as the founder and the host of the radio program and inspirational talk show, "The Master's Mission," in which she and her co-host, Gita Surendranath, attempt to strengthen the lives of billions of people across more than 60 nations through Worldwide Christian Radio, the NOW Network and YouTube. Additionally, she has contributed to the next generation of medical and paramedical students as a mentor offering guidance and encouragement on medical missions and influencing myriad communities. Beyond her primary professional responsibilities, Dr. Massey has contributed to medical camps in Mexico, El Salvador and Ghana, the latter in which she also seized the opportunity to fight against sex trafficking and garnered recognition from the Vice President of Ghana.
In light of her exceptional undertakings, Dr. Massey has accrued several accolades throughout her impressive career. In 2014, she was recognized as the President's Call to Service Award from the Corporation for National and Community Service and the Hometown Heroes Certificate of Appreciation from Allen & Allen. Moreover, Mission of Hope International was presented with the President's Volunteer Service Award from the Corporation for National and Community Service that same year.
Harboring a lifelong interest in non-profit work and service for the benefit of others in her community, Dr. Massey attributes her success to the life of Christ and the support of her wonderful parents and brother, Dr. Ashish Surendranath. In the coming years, she hopes to expand her borders and help more people on both a local and global level. Likewise, Dr. Massey aims to continue dedicating her free time to her loving husband, Peter, and her two wonderful children, Amy and Aidan.
