Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, Ms. Beaubrun was raised to make a way for herself out of the things that she had loved. She began event planning in high school because she always loved creating spaces for people and making others feel special. In her career, Ms. Beaubrun wanted to become a resource in the event planning industry in order to separate herself from the competition.
Ms. Beaubrun subsequently earned a diploma in culinary and hospitality management and a Bachelor of Science in business and marketing. She additionally holds certification in event management from George Washington University, and she is certified as a sustainability professional, a government meeting professional and a Serve Safe food protection manager. Ms. Beaubrun currently serves as the owner of Event Pros Let's Talk, the chief executive officer of Events by Carline and the founder of a nonprofit, Pajamas & A Purpose, Inc.
For her exemplary efforts in her career and her community, Ms. Beaubrun has been recognized for Exemplary Leadership by the Office of the Borough of Brooklyn, the Best Event Planner in Garden City, New York, and among the Top 25 Event Professionals. Ms. Beaubrun was inducted into the Garden City Hall of Fame for the Best Event Planner in Garden City, NY, 2020. She also accepted the Young Gifted and Black Entrepreneurial Award and the Power in Motion Women Empowerment Award in 2020, the Public Advocate Award from the state of New York and the Prestigious Innovator Award. Ms. Beaubrun has attributes her professional success to her hard work, resilience and tenacity as well as the ability to adapt to new and challenging situations, including overcoming the economic crisis in 2008.
Civically, Ms. Beaubrun has been involved with The Young Event Professionals, the International Mocha Moms-Long Island Chapter, the Association of Bridal Consultants, the Society of Government Meeting Professionals, the International Association for Women, the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, The International Live Events Association and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women. In the coming years, she hopes to continue expanding her business into the field of virtual events. Ms. Beaubrun also plans to witness the growth of her businesses and her non-profit.
Ms. Beaubrun has three children of whom she is most proud. Her children have been raised in a family of hard workers and they emulate the qualities they have all portrayed. They have watched Ms. Beaubrun work hard, never accepting the word "No." She has enjoyed having them as her "sidekicks" over the last 13 years and looks forward to many more years ahead.
