NORTHBROOK, IL, December 24, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Jane M. Sudbrink with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Sudbrink celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Now retired from an exemplary career as a sales and marketing executive, Ms. Sudbrink accumulated nearly four and a half decades of expertise. Concluding her profession in 2013 as a consultant for W.W. Norton & Company, a renowned publishing company based in New York City known for its Norton Anthologies, she formerly spent more than 10 years with the organization as a marketing associate. Ms. Sudbrink's extensive background also included high level positions with Worth Publications Inc. – von Holtzbrinck Publishing Group as a regional manager and the Wilson Learning Corporation as a sales and marketing manager.
A true pioneer, Ms. Sudbrink was one of the few women to excel in her industry when she began her career. Hired by Random House in Minneapolis in 1969 as a field representative, she was told that she would not last six months. However, she excelled in her position and later relocated to Ann Arbor, Michigan, before earning a promotion to the level of a regional manager in 1974, after which she oversaw the Midwest and Canadian regions. As Ms. Sudbrink continually progressed, she ascended to positions of management, where she devoted much of her time to hiring new employees. Ironically, when she retired from the business, the majority of the employees in publishing were women.
Apart from her full-time obligations, Ms. Sudbrink was a talented broker. Throughout the course of her professional journey, she invested her money well and plans to apply her savings in causes that will make an impact on both her community and the world at large. Attributing her success to a balanced work life, Ms. Sudbrink is a celebrated Marquis listee who has been showcased in over 60 editions of Who's Who, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the Midwest, and Who's Who in the World.
Ms. Sudbrink was born and raised in Ohio. After graduating from high school, she studied locally, attaining a Bachelor of Science at Bowling Green State University in 1964. Ms. Sudbrink proceeded to complete postgraduate coursework in Zurich in 1965 and at the University of Michigan in 1969.
