Mrs. Senkevech is an entrepreneur, wellness advocate and the owner (with her husband) of the Senkor Group and Poetry Tack & Ag, LLC. As a child, she dreamed of working in healthcare, and took a special interest in cancer treatments after losing her grandmother to the disease. She earned an Associate of Arts from Arkansas Tech where she decided to marry her high school sweetheart, Kevin. They both transferred and finished their degrees at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Her degree was a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition. She began working at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, AR. She and her husband moved to Texas in 1990 so that she could complete her internship at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Once she graduated, she began working at Terrell State Hospital. Her husband received a degree in Agriculture Business.
Before exploring business development, Mrs. Senkevech spent nearly a decade in healthcare, then moved to teaching health and wellness to high schoolers at her local private school for a second decade. She donated hundreds of hours to help forge the success of the new local school, Poetry Community Christian School. During this time, she obtained a personal training certification from the Cooper Institute and assisted the Institute in a two-year research childhood fitness as well as advanced certifications in Nutrition.
She went to assist her husband in forging a new manufacturing business out of necessity. In 2010, she became the owner and President of Senkor Group, Inc. a Texas-based water treatment and aquaculture product manufacturer with a portfolio in medicines, pH adjusters and bulk water treatments available for purchase and private labeling opportunities. Mrs. Senkevech established Poetry Tack & Ag in 2017 with her husband Kevin and her two adult children Josh and Brea to provide the Poetry, Texas area with a family-owned outlet for animal feed, hay, fertilizers and heritage seeds, durable goods, agricultural supplies and clothing as well as housewares.
In addition to her business endeavors, Mrs. Senkevech continues to work as an independent nutrition coach and prayer minister. She is an active member in ministry and attributes her success to listening to God's plan for her.
