After graduating from high school, he began working in the kitchen of a large Italian restaurant, perfecting his craft and developing leadership skills that would eventually lead to a position as the restaurant's executive chef. Mr. Thorpe's early experiences in the culinary industry left him with a keen eye for business development and growth, and he soon relocated to Florida to accept a corporate role with Sign-A-Rama, training new franchisees and opening satellite marketing and production offices across the East Coast.
Mr. Thorpe entered the insurance industry in 2009 as a sales manager for Florida Insurance and Retirement, where he specialized in life insurance policies. He quickly realized a passion for health insurance, joining the Florida Health Group as a sales manager and becoming an independent sales agent for UnitedHealthcare Medicare Solutions. Since 2019, Mr. Thorpe has served as the Owner, Operations Manager and a health, life and annuities policy sales agent for G.T. Advisors Group.
