CONVERSE, TX, January 06, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jaimi L. Rickelman has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
A successful entrepreneur, Ms. Rickelman is presently the owner and operator of 3 Bears by Jaimi Linn in Converse, Texas. Specializing in homemade sensory and toys for customers with children on the spectrum and Alzheimer's, she also oversees production, sales, customer service issues and requests, as well as the books. In 2020, Ms. Rickelman added face masks to her selection after the inundation of requests as the result of the coronavirus pandemic. For every mask she sells, she notably donates a mask back into the community. She has donated over 1,000 masks and counting across 24 states thus far.
Ms. Rickelman's entrepreneurial spirit stems from her upbringing. Growing up in a family that owned and operated several businesses, she, too, had the very same drive. Crediting her husband and children for their ongoing support, she anticipates opening a storefront in the future and possibly taking on several employees, including her mother who will assist with routine sewing responsibilities.
A visionary and leader behind numerous community initiatives, Ms. Rickelman was most notably aligned with the Boy Scouts of America. Making a huge impact on the organization, she volunteered her time at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) where her husband was stationed, where she was as a cubmaster for five years. In this capacity, she expanded the group from just 14 children to 73 children. She was also instrumental in fundraising efforts for the nonprofit, boosting donations from $1,500 to $17,000. Apart from serving as a cubmaster, Ms. Rickelman lent her expertise in other roles, including vice chairperson of the district, committee chairperson and senior trainer and camp master, to name a few.
Accepted to Indiana State University in 2020, Ms. Rickelman has begun working toward a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice. She holds a certificate of business through the University of Johannesburg in South Africa.
Ms. Rickelman is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and has been a member of Phi Beta Kappa since 2010. Recognized for her academic achievements, she was included in Who's Who Among College Students. She also recently received a District Award of Merit from the Boy Scouts of America in 2018 for her volunteer efforts.
