Prior to joining Tampa Electric in 2019, she gained valuable expertise in law as an assistant city attorney for the City of Tampa from 2016 to 2019, of counsel for Petitt Worrell Rocha PLLC from 2014 to 2016, president of Tolbert Mora Law, P.A. from 2012 to 2013, associate and law clerk with Bricklemyer, Smolker & Bolves P.A. from 2004 to 2012, and an internship with the Florida Supreme Court in 2008.
Before embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Mora earned an Associate of Arts, with honors, through Pasco-Hernando Community College in 1999. From there, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in urban and regional planning from the University of South Florida in 2002 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Stetson University College of Law in 2008.
The daughter of a building official, Ms. Mora spent her formative years on construction sites and inside county commission chambers. Her lifetime of experience around development combined with her education, professional development, and passion for property law give her a unique depth and breadth of expertise in her field.
