Embarking upon his professional journey, Dr. Jordan pursued a formal education at MSU where he received an AA in General Studies/Biology and at Brigham Young University from which he received a Bachelor of Science in physics in 1965. He continued his studies at the University of Utah, where he attained a Master of Engineering Administration in 1974, after which he worked at the University of Maryland (RIAS), awarded a Doctor of Physics in 1976. Years later, Dr. Jordan further advanced his academic efforts at Camden University, where he received a Doctor of Science in 1993. Eminently qualified in his field, Dr. Jordan holds certification since 1981 as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), and was a registered professional engineer (PE) in California, Utah, and Colorado. He also studied Applied Physics and Metallurgy (Ceramic Engineering) at Colorado School of Mines (CSM), after working as a technician (Electronics, Ceramics and Explosives).
Dr. Jordan began his professional career as a geophysicist with Pan American Petroleum, whereupon he became a geophysicist, and systems engineer with the Martin Marietta Corporation. He later served as a senior project ceramic engineer for the Honeywell Ordinance Division, a senior project reliability engineer and senior project physicist for the Univac Federal Systems Division, the base senior industrial engineer at Edwards Air Force Base, senior project manufacturing engineer for the Litton Defense Systems Division and the general manager of Specialty JnA Enterprise Inc. He also excelled in various engineering positions through Jordan Associates. Presently, Dr. Jordan works as a senior staff project consultant, general manager and geophysicist with J'nA Enterprises Inc. through Charles F. Day Associates, Inc., Bechtel, and H.K. Ferguson Co., as a senior consultant when opportunities arise.
In addition to his primary professional appointments, Dr. Jordan has worked as a consultant for various companies in the industry. He consults in such areas as energy issues, ozonation, magnetic water conditioning, water filtration, earthquake prediction and control, detecting gravitational radiation, and specialist in plant and facility layout. Dr. Jordan has also offered his expertise as an adjunct professor and research lecturer at various colleges and universities through the years in geology, physics, math, chemistry and business administration. Recently, he lectured on earthquake prediction and control consulting and other subjects at the Institute of New Energy and the Museum of the Unexplained.
As an accomplished professional, Dr. Jordan is credited with designing subsystems for the Apollo experiments pallet, the planetary parachute program, the Titan Manned Orbital Laboratory, Titan IIIDC, as well as other subsystems associated with several aerospace and defense weapons systems. He also invented the GRASER, an explosive nitro methane chemical laser, the rare earth cationic doped glass laser, and piezo-electric devices, and helped to develop slurry AN (Ammonium Nitrate) explosives and shaped charges for Nobel Nitro Gold Medal winner (in Explosives), Dr. Melvin A. Cook. In addition, he was nominated as a candidate for the Physics Nobel Prize for group work related to predicting the existence of gravitational waves and weight-bearing neutrinos of different types. Dr. Jordan also served on a Delta Team with the U.S. Army in Vietnam, Cambodia, and with government in the U.S. Army National Guard for eight years, during which time he was stationed with the U.S. Army National Guard located at S.L.C., Utah (Fort Douglas, Utah and Camp Williams) and in Cambodia in a classified mission. He was awarded the Purple Heart, being wounded, and given the Bronze Star for Valor. For his accomplishments early in his career, he received PIN Awards from the American Society of Quality Control and from the Institute Industrial Engineers. He contributed to 108 inventions including the Hand Held Calculator for HP and with various governments, contractors and NGO industries. He helped design computers and systems for NSA, CIA, the US Army, the USAF (i.e., B-1 and B-2 Bomber, and SR-71).
Throughout the course of his career, Dr. Jordan has been most proud of his work in 1960s, when he conducted a pre-gravity wave measuring experiment. During this time, scientists were in the early stages of researching gravity and anti-gravity in classified areas, and he was asked to join this research because of his experimental work. As a trusted professional, Dr. Jordan has traveled to several secret military locations, where he has worked with the naval weapons Center at China Lake and at A-51 for Kelly Johnson. Dr. Jordan had maintained his professional affiliation with the Institute of Industrial Engineers, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the American Society of Plant Engineers, ASQC/ASA, the American Ceramic Society, the National Eagle Scout Association; he is an Eagle Scout. He has contributed services to Restored Churches of Jesus Christ Association with membership worldwide. He is an educated, trained Certified Energy Manager (CEM), PE (Professional Engineer) and attorney, having years ago passed the Colorado Bar, as a side capability.
