As a software test engineer since 2019, she participates in product backlog refinement sessions, tests new software and enhancements, and oversees project planning, as well as daily scrum stand-up meetings and sprint reviews and retrospectives. Prior to obtaining her current position, she worked as a project manager specializing in ambulatory operations with West Virginia University from 2017 to 2019, where she co-managed a $50 million project for the building and operations of the Fairmont Gateway Clinic and a $13.8 million project for the Waynesburg Outpatient Center.
From 1997 to 2017 Ms. Ravis honed her expertise in management through executive positions, including senior analyst, subject matter expert, and accounts receivable promotions and rebates group leader for Mylan Pharmaceuticals. During her time with Mylan, she worked on a $3 million integration project that incorporated an acquired company into their software system and reduced inefficiencies with accounts receivable by 25% by developing key performance indicators.
While embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Ravis earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in management from Waynesburg University in 2001. Outside of her work, she serves as board member with Daphne's Lamp, which helps those suffering from mitochondrial diseases. Additionally, she remains active with her local church. Looking ahead, Ms. Ravis intends to obtain her scrum master certificate.
