BIRMINGHAM, AL, January 18, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Francis Renee Perdue has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in liberal arts and sciences from the University of California Riverside in 2004, Ms. Perdue began working as a teacher for the Los Angeles County Office of Education in 2005, maintaining her role until 2010. Subsequently, she excelled as an enrichment teacher with Partnerships in Uplifting Communities School District from 2010 to 2011, the Executive Producer and Publicist of Artivist, an United Nations NGO from 2012 to 2013, an executive board member of Friends of the Center for Individual Development (CID) from 2016 to 2017, Director of Communications for MY Beverages Company from 2018 to 2019, and Director of Public Relations for Burgerim in 2019.
Throughout her varied career, Ms. Perdue received certifications in Organization Communication and in Curriculum and Instruction. Today, she holds several titles, including restaurant owner of the Burgerim Franchise since 2018, Perdue Beauty 2020, film producer with Tri Wen Productions since 2018, founder of R.A.I.S.E. A City since 2014, and owner and Senior Publicist for Perdue, Inc. (formerly PS Media Talent LLC), since 2010.
Throughout her career, Ms. Perdue has used her business consulting skills to help companies with branding and acquisitions. She finds locations for events, and she creates branding packages, marketing plans and publicity campaigns. Most notably, she has created streams of income from performance-based integrated marketing projects for Perdue Inc. As a respected voice in her field, she was invited to speak at Lionsgate Films on Diversity and at the University of California Riverside. For her efforts, Ms. Perdue received a Press Award, a Trailblazer Award, the Black Business Hall of Fame Award nomination, and the Publicity Award from Women in Public Relations. She was also nominated for the Black Business Hall of Fame for three consecutive years. Most recently, she was honored at the Future is Female Event and Trailblazer for Publicity in 2019.
In her community, Ms. Perdue has been active with the Black Public Relations Society of Los Angeles and Imaginetainment. She also maintains professional affiliation with the ColorComm Network. She attributes her professional success to her late mother, Carolyn Jean Walton Perdue, who always encouraged her and allowed her to pursue her dreams. Looking toward the future, Ms. Perdue plans to continue on her current successful path of Public Relations, Acquisitions of restaurants (franchises & individual fast casual entities) and other companies. She would also like to retire in the coming years and have others take over her businesses.
