Currently, she serves as the co-founder, president, and chief executive officer of Amicus MSP, which specializes in providing secure, effective, and efficient information technology solutions for many businesses. Previously, she gained valuable expertise in the healthcare field as a pediatric intensive care nurse and management with the LA County USC Medical Center, with which she worked for ten years. Outside of her primary responsibilities, Ms. Borm has been active as a volunteer with Team USA Canoe/Kayak and was a previous member of the board of directors for the San Diego Canoe & Kayak Team, an Olympic youth development program.
Ms. Borm's career has been built on several foundations, initially with the degree as a registered nurse and critical care nurse in the Pediatric ICU at LA County University of Southern California nursing program to her role as the CEO of an information technology company. To stay current in the dynamic changes in technology and to implement up to date solutions for their clients, she has been affiliated with several organizations, including the Better Business Bureau, the Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce, the National International Franchise Association, SBA local groups and several peer group associations. Although her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Borm is especially proud of the experience she gained in critical care, as a CCRN, which has provided her a solid footing to build successful businesses, such as developing great people skills, conflict resolution and ability to perform through critical and difficult situations. Skillsets that continue to serve her well in her business and personal life alike, which is evident in her life-long friendships and relationship to her spouse and business partners for several decades. She is especially ecstatic about developing the high-performing team and the great leadership culture established at Amicus MSP.
In light of her outstanding body of work, Ms. Borm was honored as the Nurse of the Year during her time in the healthcare industry. She additionally accepted the Volunteer of the Year Award from Team USA in 2015 for her services as a team manager for World Championship events. Looking toward the future, Ms. Borm continues to lead Amicus MSP towards monumental growth despite the health and economic challenges the business world is experiencing. Ultimately, her future goal is to have more time and money to make a difference and to contribute to charitable organizations.
