Ms. Lewis is a published writer, faith educator and theologian with a lifetime of dedication to spiritual learning and discovery. She currently teaches Hebrew classes as an instructor for the Messianic-Jewish synagogue, and is scheduled for graduation in May 2021 with a Master of Divinity degree in Pastoral Studies at Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. Ms. Lewis' path began at the age of 14, when she learned about the Gospel from school friends. Raised with traditional Christian and family values by her parents, Ms. Lewis went into Roman Catholicism to better understand the history and ancient spiritual traditions of her faith in 1998. Almost two decades later, she left a longstanding membership in her local parish choir and Cantorship, and the Carmelite Religious Order (OCDS – Newly Received) to embrace her ethic Hebrew religio-culture as a Messianic-Jew (or Christian-Jewish believer)
After completing an Associate of Arts degree at West Los Angeles College, Ms. Lewis continued her education at California State University, Long Beach in journalism. She transferred to St. Mary of the Woods College and graduated with honors with a BA degree in Professional Creative Writing. She entered seminary at Talbot School of Theology at Biola University in 2012 and earned her Master of Arts degree in Old Testament studies in May 2018 with honors. Ms. Lewis is the author of "A Search for Truth" Amazon novel (2nd edition) published in 2020, which was nominated for "Book of the Year." Her inspirational religious book was also featured in a social media blitz event as "Book Of The Day" on 12/30/2020. Ms. Lewis has also contributed to several other publications. She is a vocalist for "Holy Horsebells" music ministry leadership team at her synagogue and is an active member of her local Jewish community center.
Passionate about promoting unity by helping others understand the Biblical evangelical faith, Ms. Lewis plans to write, publish, and teach for years to come. She is presently working on future books; her writing interests include inspirational fiction literature; scholarly/academic journal articles and textbooks; popular Messianic Jewish/Christian books, and religious poetry. Ms. Lewis is a member of the Authors Guild, National Association of Professors of Hebrew, and the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America.
