Focusing much of her work on light energy, which can be controlled by monitoring one's feelings, Ms. Harris successfully healed her son from congenital glaucoma, as well as herself after one of the bones in her legs disconnected from her hip.
Ms. Harris notably works with clients through workshops, webinars and teleseminars. An entrepreneur for much of her life, she found success for more than 50 years as a jazz pianist and piano teacher as well as the owner and operator of the Nancy Harris Piano Studio in Eugene. Aside from her efforts as a healer, Ms. Harris has become an inspirational and award-winning writer with more than 10 books inspired by her own struggles, including Miracles Master the Art: Healing Medically Incurable Illness, Mental Illness: Healing Yourself and Invasion Revealed: Healing Alcoholism, Mental Illness and Drug Addiction.
Ms. Harris pursued an education at San Jose State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in piano performance in 1975. She continued her studies at the University of Oregon, from which she obtained a Master of Arts in music theory in 1997. More recently, she graduated from The Four Winds Society, which is renowned for its professional training in energy healing and shamanism. Ms. Harris has also trained under Dr. Alberto Villoldo, Don Oscar Miro-Quesada, and Dr. Hank Wesselman.
To stay aware of developments in her respective fields, Ms. Harris has been a member of the Oregon Music Teachers Association, the Music Teachers National Association, the Small Publishers Association of North America, and the Independent Book Publishers Association. She was honored as Top Shaman, Spiritual Teacher of the Year for 2020 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). For her writing contributions, she received a Pinnacle Book Achievement Award for Miracles Master the Art and was distinguished as a finalist in the Book Excellence Awards.
