Inspired by his father a civil engineer, Mr. Correa pursued a career in engineering, gaining valuable expertise in the field as an electrical engineer for the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Army for over 30 years. In the context of his roles, he tested most of the U.S. Army's missile systems and maintained oversight of communications systems and retired as the Director of Information Systems Operations at White Sands Missile Range. After retiring in 2005, Mr. Correa became active as a realtor with Options Realty in El Paso Texas, which he specializes in remodeling homes preparing them for sale, property investment and rental property sales.
Before embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Correa earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso, as well as a certificate through the IEEE. In order to remain aware of ongoing changes in the Real Estate field, he is affiliated with the National Association of Realtors, and as a member of Greater El Paso Association of Realtors and the local chapter of the Knights of Columbus Council 11926 and the 4th Degree Cristo Rey Assembly reaching the position as Master of the 4th Degree. Alongside his primary responsibilities, Mr. Correa contributes to his community through his local church and as a member of the Knights.
In recognition of his professional achievements, Mr. Correa has been honored many times, accepting a Meritorious Service Medal, an Outstanding Support Award from America's Service Range and two Achievement Medals from the U.S. Department of Defense. Although his career has been filled with highlights, he is especially proud of serving with the U.S. Department of Defense and the Knights of Columbus. In the coming years, Mr. Correa intends to dedicate more time to his five grandchildren.
