For the next two years, Ms. Maydan served as a digital marketing associate for TMC Financing, where she continued to build a reputation for effective email marketing campaigns and SEO optimization while branching into other areas of marketing. Responsible for crafting press releases, mapping leads and maintaining the company website, Ms. Maydan honed a diverse set of skills that she would carry with her into her current role. In just under a year, she developed a streamlined marketing plan based on campaign effectiveness metrics she had compiled and assessed and spearheaded the transition to a new email marketing software platform.
Since early 2019, Ms. Maydan has been an audience and user experience (UX/UI) consultant for Tahzoo, a global customer experience (CX) and technology consulting firm. As a UX researcher, Maria analyzes all of a client's digital properties to create a 360-degree analysis through one-on-one audience interviews, site audits, metrics, and analytics. To inform user experience design and content architecture, she acts as a subject matter expert to voice the concepts of the end consumer in the development process. In addition to her role of a consultant, Maria is also a copywriter and utilizes her insights into her clients target audiences to craft personalized messaging that will be served to them at the right place and time. Furthermore, Maria manages Tahzoo's marketing and social media channels and is a thought leadership contributor writing blog articles on a variety of topics. Eminently qualified in her field, Ms. Maydan holds Adobe Marketo certification, and currently enjoys the extensive opportunity for travel that working with Tahzoo provides her.
Ms. Maydan has published numerous whitepapers covering her insights into marketing technology and e-commerce trends and has contributed to articles for several major business and finance publications. She is active in the DC Chapter of the University of California Berkeley Alumni Association, and attributes her success to being lucky enough to find a job in a field she excelled in immediately after graduation.
