Well regarded as a world traveler, Dr. Ward has notably traveled to 60 countries. She is credited as a pioneer in the formation of West Virginia's gifted program during the 1970s and helped develop Marshall University's master education program courses for teachers of talented and gifted students. As an advocate for education and a dedicated writer, Dr. Ward has served as an administrator for Arabian Online Press, a panelist for several industry events, an editor and writer for Morocco Pens, and as the editor of Tour of Love, a magazine, plus two upcoming, new magazines in 2021.
As an accomplished and international best-selling writer, Dr. Ward is the author of "Random Wandering," "Because I Believed in Me (My Egyptian Fantasy Came True)," "Quarentena and Beyond," "Global Achievers, Vol. I," and "A Cup of Love" as well as more than 140 inspirational and educational blogs. She has also created numerous YouTube videos and numerous podcasts and international live interviews. For her efforts over the years, Dr. Ward has received countless accolades and awards from industry organizations. Most recently, she was presented with the Queen's Crown Award from CDWilson and the Red and White Blazers of Excellence and Achievement from Global Women Rock, IAOTP 2019 Female Visionary and 2020 Educator of the Decade in Language Arts, and a 2021 Honorary Doctorate in Humanitarianism.
To remain aware of developments in her field, Dr. Ward has maintained her affiliation with many pertinent organizations. To wit, she has been a member of the World Women Conference and Awards, the International Women's Leadership Association, the International Association of Women, LOANI, the International Society of Business Leaders, Scribblers Christian Writers and Southeastern USA Writers, among many others. Civically, Dr. Ward is active with the Africa Nomads Conservation, the International Youth Society, World Peace Forest (Africa), and Unity in Service.
Dr. Ward is most proud to have contributed to the development of young minds. She has attributed her professional success to her late husband, Bill Ward, who always encouraged her, supported her, and pushed her to continue pursuing her ambitions. Looking toward the future, Dr. Ward plans to start a podcast where she will interview friends from around the world who are active in their communities.
