PORTLAND, OR, February 23, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dexter Morrison has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
While working in the oil industry for nearly 20 years, Mr. Morrison was fortunate enough to have a college booster, recommend him for a sales job, with the fifth largest oil company in the world. Therefore, he believed that it was his obligation to return the favor and look out for the children. At an early age Mr. Morrison was reminded that God gave him two hands, one for taking, and one for giving. He now ensures that he is giving more than he is taking! "I love to give back to kids," he remarked. He began coaching when his children were very young and became respected in the community in this position and soon thereafter, was hired by the School District, to coach their Middle School's football teams. He was the first parent to be hired by the District to coach any sports program.
In light of his experiences as a coach, Mr. Morrison established Big D Business Development in 2018, with the intent of running it like a football team, with game plans and assistant coaches. He remains as the founder and owner to this day. Through Big D, he recently created a Merchandise Fundraising Campaign for Politicians, the purpose was to raise money from product sales and donate a portion of the sales to helped Joe Biden win the 2020 Presidential Election, and raise money for his community projects, Additionally, Mr. Morrison has created a source for Democratic politicians to raise money for their campaigns through Big D's merchandise.
Although his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Morrison is especially proud of channeling his entrepreneurial spirit and dreams into his varying professional positions. During the early 1990s, he invented one of the first light switch plates for the National Football League, incorporating all of their team logos. From packaging and marketing to sales and distribution, Mr. Morrison has remained active and involved in every aspect of the aforementioned product's development and release. Mr. Morrison has accomplished all this while working a full-time job, and raising three successful children!
An expert in his field of helping others, Mr. Morrison has been honored with several accolades. Notably, he has been presented with the 100 Percent Excellence in Customer Service Award on two separate occasions. He felt this was quite the honor, as he worked for the City's transit system as a bus operator. "Every day you have a chance to put a smile on your customers face, and help them solve problems," he said. Looking ahead, Mr. Morrison intends to experience the continued success of his career while also contributing to his community. Mr. Morrison has launched a major fundraising project to reinvest in black and poor communities. He started his "One Building Project."
While discussing the release of his friend's book, (Mr. Ken Buckles, REMEMBERANCE VOLUME I), which features personal stories of Veterans of color in WWII, Mr. Buckles introduced him to 3 Civil Rights Iions to start his project! Mr. Morrison wanted people on his team that had his passion for kids.
He has announced his team and how they plan to help improve kid's lives and bring hope and dreams back to their communities.

Mr. Hezekiah Watkins: The youngest Freedom Rider who was arrested at the age of 13.
Mr. Ron Silver: Served 33 years as an Assistant United States Attorney and has a reputation for forging relationships with diverse communities. After what our children have been watching, in my opinion, theses great icons deserve to tell their stories from beginning to present.
Mr. Kenneth Adams: Director of Urban Development: Property of America, is pleased to have a person like Mr. Adams on the team. He has an extensive background in urban development. His last title before retirement was Assistant Executive Director-Planning and Building Agency for the City of Santa Anna, California. Service time-21 years. Masters in Architecture and Urban Planning from UCLA.
Mr. Morrison's teacher Mr. Rory McGonigie who has taught him how to set up his website design, and how to market his products on social media platforms for his Merchandise Fundraising campaign. He is an expert in this field, and now he has joined the project.
Mr. Morrison, Building Projects. The Baltimore Project: To bring to the late Congressman District an: Elijah Cummings PoA. Mental Health and Pharmacy Clinic: The goal is to create relationships with HBCU's, to have their students work as interns in the community. This is a way to keep the community up to date, about the health care system.
Mr. Morrison plans to bring a Sports Education Complex to the intercity! He just entered into negotiations as a partnership with a company that can make this happen. They have built over 2,000, with the purpose of improving kids lives through sports, and bring economic growth to the community. Mr. Morrison is very excited to work with a firm that is used to bringing beautiful facilities to a community and can generate growth. Mr. Morrison's vision of the facility: it will hold the best Civil Rights, Basketball and Volleyball and Baseball Tournaments for youth. It will offer an education facility for when teams travel so they will have a place to study. Their plans are to make it a state of the art facility. They plan to use their Merchandise Fundraising Campaign to secure the retainer to start the project!
