TONASKET, WA, February 26, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kristi Stalder has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Stalder is a freelance writer, writing coach, community advocate and the owner of Stalder Books and Publishing LLC. A graduate of the Spokane Community College Running Start Program and the Institute of Children's Literature, she nurtured a lifelong passion for creating alternate worlds and detailed characters through writing. Already the author of two books, I Love You More, a picture book for young readers, and Navigating Assisted Living: The Transition into Senior Living, a nonfiction guide for families, Ms. Stalder is currently working on two more projects, with publication anticipated in late 2021.
Prior to pursuing writing full-time, Ms. Stalder spent more than a decade in administration at Sullivan Park Assisted Living community. She continues to advise and support families making the transition toward assisted living, and provides private coaching via Zoom to families, caregivers and residents of other communities. Ms. Stalder began publishing and blogging in 2010, and has been the president and owner of Stalder Books and Publishing, a coaching empire, podcast and series of workshops for aspiring writers, since 2018. She attributes her success to discipline, a propensity for independence and what she coins her "five-minute rule," which is exemplified by her personal motto: "If it won't matter in five years, don't spend five minutes worrying about it."
In a career suffused with highlights, Ms. Stalder is most proud of the moment her first book was listed for sale on the Barnes & Noble website. Looking toward the future, she anticipates the completion of her latest books, comprising an adventure fiction novel, Wrath and a self-development workbook for young readers, The Success Challenge. In addition to writing and coaching aspiring authors, Ms. Stalder is a proud stay-at-home parent of three children aged 13, 10, and 2, and looks forward to the birth of her youngest in 2021.
