Taking the reigns of the Humtown Pattern Company, established by his father over 60 years ago, Mr. Lamoncha now leads Humtown Products; a conventional core manufacturing operation, as well as Humtown Additive, the largest Sand 3DPrinting company in the United. States.
In his work with Humtown, Mr. Lamoncha has driven regional partnerships, including Youngstown State University, Youngstown Business Incubator, and America Makes, to establish a robust additive manufacturing ecosystem in Northeast Ohio. As an established and innovative leader, Mr. Lamoncha is exploring multiple applications for the technology, including development of new materials and functionality. Most recently, he has taken the lead in developing removable inner cores for metal castings. He is especially proud to hold a patent for the invention of the Visual Payrate System which empowers employees to take control of their earnings through a visual real time software solution.
Mr. Lamoncha is also a community and State leader. He is professionally affiliated with the Association of Ohio Commodores, is recently appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber, and is a member of the Ohio State Board of Education since 2019. In addition, on behalf of the entire Humtown team, Mr. Lamoncha accepted the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Manufacturer of the Year Award for 2020, along with two Manufacturing Leadership Awards for outstanding achievement in Engineering & Production Technology, and for Talent Management Leadership.
