LOUISVILLE, KY, March 17, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Who's Who® inducts Andrew Charles Cooper for excellence as a leader in the U.S. legal industry. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field of work are all taken into account during the selection process.
Within a decade of beginning his professional career, Mr. Cooper has excelled as an attorney, most recently as Vice President and Head of Legal for UPS Airlines. Previously a Patent Litigator with the international law firm of Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP, Mr. Cooper quickly obtained experience in all aspects of federal practice, including amicus curiae to the United States Supreme Court on esoteric patent matters.
Mr. Cooper also flourished in his pursuits outside of the office to include service on a number of prestigious boards. He currently serves as on the Board of Directors of the Lincoln Foundation, and on the advisory boards of the Harvard Debate Council Diversity Project, and Page Turners Make Great Learners.
Before entering law practice, Mr. Cooper pursued an education at The George Washington University, graduating with a Bachelor's in Economics and Political Science. He later obtained a Doctor of Law degree from Emory University School of Law with a certificate in Transactional Law and Skills.
Mr. Cooper considers his most notable accomplishment to be securing the full certification under Federal Aviation Administration regulations for the world's first drone-based airline for United Parcel Service. He attributes his success to his strong parents Beatrice and Andrew Lee Cooper, and mentors, Dinisa Folmar and Leonard Searcy. In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Cooper was named to Emory University's 40 Under 40 in 2017, the Louisville Business Journal's 40 Under 40 in 2019, and was bestowed the elusive Kentucky Colonel in 2019.
