Supported by a Bachelor of Science in Communication and a Bachelor of Sociology from Butler University where she graduated cum laude, Ms. Collier began her professional career as the storeowner of Chip A Tee Market and Chip A Tee Fine Wine and Spirits. After a decade in this role, she found herself driven to help others and focused her career ambitions accordingly. As a Behavioral Specialist with the Lake County School Readiness Coalition, Ms. Collier collaborated with children up to the age of 15 with behavioral problems that were creating difficulties in school.
After three years, Ms. Collier distinguished herself as a Child Advocate for Bridges of Williamson County and conducted in-house support sessions for children and parents. Additionally, she arranged and conducted activities and wrote various grants. Throughout the course of her career, she has furthered her education with a Master's Degree in Graduate Psychology (MMFT) from Trevecca Nazarene University, and later served as a Clinical Supervisor for Safe Haven Family Shelter. She worked as an adjunct professor at Lipscomb University where she conducted graduate supervision for the students. Presently, Ms. Collier excels as the owner of the Therapeutic Wellness Center, LLC, through which she works with clients suffering from a range of problems, including marital and parenting issues, ADD/ADHD, schizophrenia, Depression, Anxiety and Autism.
Bearing certification as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, Ms. Collier aligns herself with the National Psychotherapy Institute and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists in order to remain aware of changes affecting the field. Outside of her work, she dedicated herself to her community by providing her expertise in a pro bono capacity, volunteering with several family shelters and assisted living facilities. In a career that has been suffused with highlights, she is most proud of her personal achievements, such as serving as an exemplary mother to her children. Looking toward the future, Ms. Collier intends to continue helping clients through Therapeutic Wellness Center, LLC.
