Although she was originally intent on practicing law to join the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Ms. Warner accepted a position with her father's firm after earning a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of South Carolina in 1999 and 2004, respectively. Subsequently, she was admitted to practice through the South Carolina Bar Association, the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the District of Columbia Bar and the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. Between 2004 and 2014, Ms. Warner excelled with Warner, Payne & Black before establishing her own private practice.
Ms. Warner currently represents clients in a wide range of legal matters, including contested divorces, child support, custody and visitation, prenuptial agreements, estate litigation and same-sex legal matters. Throughout her career thus far, she has assisted in such notable cases as Jennings v. Jennings, Lewis v. Lewis, Simpson v. Simpson and Bradacs v. Haley. In light of her professional excellence, Ms. Warner has conducted a number of presentations, including "Understanding Your Client – A Lawyer's Guide to Preventing the Financial Exploitation of an Elderly Client" and "Modern Family – Representing Gay, Lesbian and Transgender Clients in Your Practice."
In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Ms. Warner has been affiliated with the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the Lexington County Bar Association, the South Carolina Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice and the American Bar Association.
For her outstanding work in the field, Ms. Warner was presented with the Legal Elite Award for the Midlands in 2016 and has been recognized among the Top 100 Matrimonial Attorneys since 2015. Though her career has been filled with highlights, she is incredibly proud of establishing her own firm and helping to get a same sex marriage law passed in South Carolina.
