Born in Argentina in 1983, Ms. Vannucci is certified in food handling and general management through ServSafe. She also studied at Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts and holds a college degree. As she began farming and connecting with the earth, she quickly learned how important it is that the food that people put into their bodies should be nutritional and designed for optimal performance. With a passion for Peruvian, Japanese, Colombian, Chilean, Argentinian and Cuban cuisine, she established Pachamama, which offers a healthy menu, in 2018. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ms. Vannucci transformed Pachamama, where she now offers healthy and organic cupcakes, as well as alfajores de dulce de leche.
Prior to founding Pachamama, Ms. Vannucci was a professional tennis player who was player number one in Argentina for over a decade. However, due to an injury she had to put an end to her tennis career, retiring number one in the national rankings made by the Argentinian Tennis Association. She had represented Argentina in international tennis championships, and with tennis legend, Guillermo Vilas as a coach, she won the Argentina Cup. After retiring from professional tennis, she began a successful modeling career, becoming the top paid model in the country, having performed fashion shows all over Latin America and Europe, representing brands such as Adidas, Nike and Topper. Ms. Vannucci was also a television host for Forbes Latino Americano as well as an actress, winning a comedy award for Best Female Actress.
Outside of her work, Ms. Vannucci remains dedicated to those less fortunate. Annually, Pachamama donates a portion of their profits to the Humane Society. Though her career has been suffused with highlights, she is especially proud to have opened her restaurant and received the Best New Restaurant award in 2019. During her time as a tennis player, she won in excess of 30 trophies. In the near future, Ms. Vannucci intends to host a cooking show and expand Pachamama on a national scale.
