GREENVILLE, OH, April 05, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael E. Stegall has been included in Marquis Who's Who. After becoming involved in the trucking industry by chance, Mr. Stegall resolved to establish his own business, incorporating Stegall Contractors in 1974. For more than four decades, he excelled as the president and owner, before retiring to focus on his work with the community. Between 2010 and 2015, Mr. Stegall worked as a trustee of the Darke County Greenville Township before he was approached by the Republican committee to stand for office as county commissioner.
Upon being elected as the county commissioner, Mr. Stegall devoted his time and professional expertise to ensuring the county remained fiscally responsible. Throughout the course of his term in office, he helped establish a fire department in the Township. It was a controversial move at the time, considering most people thought it would cost too much money, but he headed the project and made his dream into a reality. Once the fire department was completed, Mr. Stegall was able to provide more jobs for the Township's residents.
Outside of his work in trucking and with the community, Mr. Stegall contributed as a high school football official for nearly 30 years. Though his career has been suffused with highlights, he is especially proud of his work as county commissioner. He has been elected three times and made considerable strides for his constituents. On the completion of his third and final term, Mr. Stegall hopes to leave the community better than when he found it.
