OAKLAND, FL, April 05, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Angi Perretti has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
After beginning her career with random sewing jobs for many of her girlfriends at Miami Springs Senior High School in Florida during the mid-1960s, Angi graduated with honors in 1969. Thereafter, life immediately became complicated, but her designing and sewing talents flourished. Driven to provide for her two small boys following her divorce in 1977, she founded her first business at age 26--Bikini Creations--a boutique swimwear outlet located inside a small, Deerfield Beach warehouse in April 1978. There, off the beaten path in that warehouse district, she designed and custom-made swim wear and string bikinis for ladies, models, and beauty pageants.
Soon thereafter, she remarried to Nick Perretti in Nov 1978. Together they co-founded Mr. Deli Restaurant and Lounge in Florida City, Florida, in 1981 where they earned high accolades for serving the biggest and the best submarine sandwiches in all the Florida Keys. Succeeding the restaurant business, Nick and Angi Perretti co-founded The PerriHouse Bed & Breakfast Inn at Lake Buena Vista, Florida. These years were very enriching. They greeted visitors from all over the world right at their breakfast table, exposed to other languages, cultures, and traditions by personal experiences that cannot be compared to any other profession. PerriHouse became the family trademark name. Onward and until Nick's death in 2003, they fostered many professional endeavors in real estate investments.
After the death of her husband, Angi Perretti nurtured a love for writing, authoring such published works as The Identity of AngiArts© 2008, Swans of the World Habitats® 2012, The Chronicles of Angi Perretti© 2014, and Cannabis Catechism© 2017. While re-publishing her first book, she was discouraged by several publishing companies making false promises, so she founded her own publishing firm, MCrc Industries, LLC in 2017 to take control of her output. Although her career thrived with many accomplishments, Angi Perretti is especially proud of establishing her own publishing company and generating a large internet presence that include three book websites and an online E-commerce store to feature all promotional products relating to her cannabis handbook.
Angi Perretti frequently contributed to the downtown Orlando arts and culture community. As an art philanthropist, master seamstress and costume designer, she launched "Walking~Works~of~Art"™ --A Philanthropy for the Arts in 2004 to rally and promote the cultural arts movement in downtown Orlando. Inspired to instill artistic inspiration through her creative efforts, Angi Perretti donated a bronze sculpture, titled "The Fantasy Swan Monument" at Lake Eola" and a live, black-necked swan named "Queenie"—The Fantasy Swan of Lake Eola" to the city of Orlando in 2008 to correlate with the letterbook she wrote: The Identity of "AngiArts©--a fantasy storybook about Orlando's first-ever cartoon character for the arts.
Over the years, she developed 19 identity trademarks and founded the Cottage Way landmark on the corner of Summerlin and Amelia in 2006, achieving her lifelong dream to finally have a professional costume design studio. For fun and entertainment, Angi incorporated one of her identity trademarks: MR CANNABISrc®© as a pen name for the handbook she authored in 2017 titled: CANNABIS CATECHISM©, by which she advocates the responsible consumption of recreational cannabis to teens and young adults USA.
From 2007 to 2014, Angi served as VP of Product Development for the Regal Swan Foundation® Inc. For her charitable achievements therein, she was recognized with a Telly Award in 2013 for her participation in the filming of ABC's Born to Explore with Richard Wiese in the UK. During those years Angi also served as a docent volunteer for the City of Orlando's swan population at Lake Eola. This afforded her the perfect opportunity to use these swans as research subjects for the 3 swan medical devices she developed. After many months of "live-swan fittings" and pattern-making, she received the John Muir Conservation Award in 2014 for creating and developing three veterinary medical devices for swan conservation efforts. She was also honored with the 2009 Outstanding Volunteer Award from Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer. Angi Perretti is now retired. She currently resides in Mt. Dora, Florida and enjoys all her 7 grandchildren.
