When Mr. Williams was in primary school, his teacher noticed that he was naturally adept at working with his hands. In wood shop, all of his classmates noted his unique skills and encouraged him to utilize those abilities later in life. His skills so exceeded those of other students that teachers would allow him to help teach other students. When he worked for others, he realized there were restrictions on what he was allowed to do, thus prompting the establishment of his own business.
After leaving his home in Jamaica to come to the United States, Mr. Williams decided that he would either start his own business or return home to Jamaica. He started in a warehouse in which he repaired antiques, which grew into his company Exquisite Woodworking, Inc., where he has excelled as president for more than 30 years. Serving the greater South Florida area, he provides the highest quality cabinetry and furniture for kitchens, bathrooms, offices, libraries, media centers and crown moldings.
A champion of his community and to those less fortunate, Mr. Williams provides furniture for The Christian Academy in Florida and also works with his church and organizations for the disabled. For his professional excellence, he was honored several times throughout his career, including accolades for his financial contributions and his volunteer service. In the coming years, Mr. Williams intends to enjoy his well-deserved retirement.
