OAKLAND, CA, April 09, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Konstantin K. Musihin with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Musihin celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Now a retired senior electrical engineer, Mr. Musihin found decades of success through his profession, beginning in his home country of China in 1948 while employed with the Chanchun Railway. After several years in the industry, followed by a brief appointment teaching as an assistant professor of high frequency communications at his alma mater, Harbin Polytechnic Institute, he relocated to Brazil, where he distinguished himself for more than a decade. In 1967, Mr. Musihin relocated yet again, this time to the U.S., where he continued to prove himself as a leader among his peers. Earning positions of increasing responsibility throughout the Oakland and San Francisco areas, he worked for Kaiser Engineers, Bay Area Rapid Transit, Pacific Gas and Electric Company and, among other companies, Bechtel Corporation as a senior engineer.
Born in Harbin, China, Mr. Musihin became interested in electrical products as a child. Inspired by his uncle, who was one of the first people to manufacture radios in his area, he resolved to pursue a similar trade and began tinkering with radios at the age of six and making them himself at the age of nine. However, he was forced to do this in secrecy due to the brutal occupation China suffered under the Japanese Army during the Second World War. Years later, Mr. Musihin graduated from high school and had the opportunity to study at the Harnin Politechnical Institute, now renamed as the Harbin Institute of Technology, where he acquired an electrical engineering degree in 1948. Eminently qualified in his field, he is notably a registered professional engineer in California, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington.
In support of his professional endeavors, Mr. Musihin is a lifetime and senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He is also a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the California Society of Professional Engineers. A celebrated Marquis listee, Mr. Musihin has been showcased in over 45 editions of Who's Who, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Science and Engineering and Who's Who in the World.
