Despite enduring a difficult childhood, Mr. Case independently pursued an education at the age of 15 through Berklee College of Music, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Professional Music, with a focus on composition, production and performance in 1994. Following his graduation, he found success at Harvard University as an educator, composer and performing artist. Between 1996 and 2010, Mr. Case served alongside Liz Bergmann, provided his wealth of knowledge to the Harvard Dance Center and served as an accompanist for a number of classes taught by Christine Dakin, Sean Curran and David Leventhal.
Over the years, Mr. Case additionally garnered valuable expertise in the field as a composer and collaborator with MIT Professional Education, in which he co-founded the student group "Kinaesthetics Lab." He further flourished as a composer and performing musician for the Boston Ballet. More recently, Mr. Case has continued to teach music at such institutions as The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Curry College and Wellesley College.
In addition to his exceptional work in education, Mr. Case was active in various roles with Martin Case Music between 1994 and 2017. Drawing upon his considerable skill set, he currently excels as a multi-media producer with Martin Case Media Productions. Through the aforementioned production company, he provides a range of media development services to ensure that his clients' messages are concise and clear. In addition to representing a plethora of clients, Mr. Case creates and produces music for dance, film and other forms of media.
Due to his outstanding accomplishments, Mr. Case has had the honor of working with such clients as the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, the Mark Morris Dance Group and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. In addition to his stellar contributions to music production, he is affiliated with the local Lions Club and the Newport Fiddle and Folk Club. Looking toward the future, Mr. Case intends to conduct more international work after COVID-19 is stabilized.
