Mr. Stinger is an esteemed entrepreneur and logistics expert celebrating more than 25 years of excellence in the marketing, talent recruiting and freight shipping industries. A former United States Army Drill Sergeant, he served in the U.S. Army for 26 years before retiring, holding such positions as a cannon crewman, drill sergeant, and talent acquisition manager; he considers his time in the armed services to be among his most notable accomplishments. He eventually retired with a number of decorations, including three Meritorious Service Medals, and recognition as the Columbus Recruiting Battalion's Top Recruiter for two years in a row. Mr. Stinger additionally obtained a Bachelor of Arts in transportation and logistics management from American Military University.
From 1998 until 2004, Mr. Stinger worked as the owner-operator of Stinger Transportation, his first foray into the freight shipping and logistics industry. He dedicated the next decade of his career to the talent acquisition and recruiting field, initially with the United States Army, and later in the private sector. In 2014, he accepted a marketing analyst position with Prairie Quest Consulting (PQC), a project management, IT consulting, and training firm. Excelling in the role, Mr. Stinger quickly advanced to become a senior marketing analyst, departing the aforementioned company in 2017 to pursue a senior marketing analyst role with Tundra Federal.
Mr. Stinger returned to freight shipping in early 2020 as the owner/president of Connection Central Transport, LLC. an Amazon independent contract delivery partner currently operating 22 routes. He applies his diverse multi-sector management experience to his present position and considers his work to be equal parts within mentoring and business development. He attributes his success to his integrity, work ethic, and values, and aims to help pay it forward and support the next generation of leaders, regardless of their industry. In his personal time, Mr. Stinger is a tireless advocate for community development and outreach initiatives, and an active volunteer with Angel Tree, Goodwill and the New Psalmist Baptist Church Men's Ministry.
