At the onset of her career, Ms. Soza worked in various retail positions. Working alongside her father and sister at Hill Country Grooming, she learned how to groom dogs, and developed a passion for working with animals. In 2020, Ms. Soza assumed control over the business and continued to provide a positive and safe environment where people can feel comfortable bringing their pets. Personally, Ms. Soza has three dogs and a turtle.
Having developed a great love for animals, Ms. Soza has most enjoyed the flexibility and excitement in working with dogs. Since taking over Hill Country Grooming, the business has received a First Place accolade for Dog Grooming services. Likewise, the business was recognized as a runner up as the Best of Wimberley in 2020 and Best of Hays in 2018.
Ms. Soza is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in business at Strayer University. She maintains her professional affiliation with the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). Looking toward the future, Ms. Soza hopes to expand the business to a larger location. She would also like to offer boarding services and grooming for cats in the coming years. The mother of four children, she works hard to be the best role model she can be for them.
