From 2006 to 2019, he worked for various financial institutions, during which time he played an integral role, in leadership, in the expansion of two of the largest mortgage lending companies in the United States.
In 2021, after serving as EnTrust Funding's CEO since the company's inception, Mr. Kimsey transitioned to executive chairman while congruently starting Kimsey Ventures in an effort to diversify his, and that of his business partner/ETF co-founder, business interests. Kimsey Ventures is a privately held investment company, which primarily focuses on real estate acquisition and development opportunities, but will range to include business investments, such as its most recent example, as an early investor in a tech startup.
As a testament to his impact within the industry, Mr. Kimsey was selected as a candidate for recognition in the Top 100 in Finance magazine, as well as profiled for his business ventures in publications such as Voyage Phoenix and Top Agent Magazine. Outside of work, Mr. Kimsey devotes his attention to his loving family, including his wife, Catherine, and his daughter, Sloane.
