HONOLULU, HI, May 03, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michelle Chapman has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. After gaining valuable expertise as a law clerk for the Honorable Karl K. Sakamoto of the First Circuit Court of the State of Hawai'i, she entered private practice and has found success with Case Lombardi & Pettit, with which she has worked since 2015 and now holds the position of director and shareholder. Over the years, Ms. Chapman has represented clients in a variety of areas, including commercial litigation, administrative and regulatory law, commercial transactions, professional liability defense, real estate law, officers and directors defense, regulatory compliance, and labor and employment law.
Before embarking upon her professional ventures, Ms. Chapman earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame du Lac in 2007. Three years later, she obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Notre Dame Law School before being admitted to practice law in Hawai'i and California, as well as before the United States District Court for the District of Hawai'i. Ms. Chapman has been affiliated with the University of Notre Dame Alumni Association and the Hawaii Women's Legal Foundation.
Apart from her work, Ms. Chapman contributes to those in need as a volunteer for Make-a-Wish, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and as a pro-bono attorney with Access to Justice. In recognition of her wide breadth of accomplishments, she has been honored in America's Top 100 for her work in Civil Defense Litigation since 2019 and has been consistently recognized with an AV-Preeminent Rating by Martindale-Hubbell. In 2020, she was also profiled in Marquis Who's Who in American Law. In the near future, Ms. Chapman intends to dedicate more time to helping others while continuing to experience the continued growth and success of her career.
