Driven by personal ambition to pursue a career in law, Mr. Dreger began his professional career as a chemist working for an environmental company. He promptly worked in safety and health management before earning certification as an industrial hygienist. Specially trained, he identified and investigated hazards within the workplace and created plans to reduce or eliminate those hazards in order to foster a healthier work environment. Supported by his considerable expertise, Mr. Dreger excels today as an attorney with the eponymous Dreger Law PC, where he focuses on employment and labor law matters, including wage and hour issues, non-disclosure agreements, employment discrimination and employment contracts.
Before embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Dreger earned a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from the University of California Berkeley in 1988. He subsequently received a Master of Business Administration from San Francisco State University in 1996 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the John F. Kennedy University College of Law in 2011. Upon graduating, he was admitted to practice law through the State Bar of California in 2012. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Mr. Dreger aligns himself with the American Industrial Hygiene Association, the California Employment Lawyer Association and the Alameda County Bar Association.
Due to his outstanding breadth of knowledge, Mr. Dreger has contributed to a number of publications, including "The Legal Aspects of Industrial Hygiene and Safety," which was published in 2019. For his professional excellence, he received a Super Lawyer Rising Star Award in 2020. Looking toward the future, Mr. Dreger aims to be retired from his day job so that he might practice law full time. Ultimately, he intends to make workplaces safer for those within them.
