During the early 1990s, Mr. Wales' close friend helped him venture into the insurance industry. After briefly working for Primerica, he found success independently as a life and annuity salesman. Before embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Wales completed coursework in agribusiness and agricultural business operations through the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
Since 1999, Mr. Wales further flourished as the executive national sales director for ValuTeachers, for which he hires and trains agents while operating alongside sales agents in Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia and North Carolina. Through ValuTeachers, he was able to become financially independent and be his own boss. Even though his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Wales is incredibly proud of watching his clients retire with financial dignity.
Alongside his primary endeavors, Mr. Wales has always dedicated his time and resources to those less fortunate as a volunteer with the local high school. For his outstanding work in the field, he was presented with several trips through ValuTeachers and was recognized as Number One in Personal Accounts in 2003.
